DAO
Vision
A world where autonomous agent networks are governed by the communities they serve โ not the corporations that build them. Where funding, oversight, and strategic direction flow through transparent, on-chain governance instead of opaque boardrooms. Where digital sovereignty is not a slogan but a verifiable state.
Mission
The #B4mad DAO exists to fund, govern, and sustain the #B4mad agent network through decentralized decision-making. We use OpenZeppelin Governor on Base L2 to give every stakeholder a voice in how the network evolves โ from which research gets funded, to which agents get deployed, to how the treasury is allocated. No single point of control. No black boxes. Every decision on-chain, every vote auditable.
Principles
- Community over corporate โ Token holders govern. No admin keys, no backdoors. The Timelock controller ensures every action goes through governance.
- Transparency as architecture โ Every proposal, vote, and execution is on-chain. Every agent action is logged in beads and git. Audit everything.
- Agents as first-class citizens โ The DAO doesn’t just govern humans. It funds and directs autonomous agents that do real work โ research, publishing, infrastructure.
- Sustainability over speculation โ The B4MAD token is a governance instrument, not a speculative asset. Value comes from what the network produces, not what the market prices.
- Privacy by design โ Powered by open standards and self-hosted infrastructure. No surveillance capitalism. Compatible with GNU Taler for privacy-preserving payments.
